LATCers made it out in the dreary weather to take part in the GenericEvents.com Pasadena triathlon... backwards! 5k run, 3-bike laps around the Rose Bowl, followed by a short swim in a heated pool (that felt GREAT this year). Many LATCers ended up on the podium. Great morning at a great race!

This was Jay's first triathlon since his MOVE to LA! I was so excited to come to this race with him. He kicked butt, of course! He cramped a little... but, had a great time... and, cheered me in as I entered the water for the final swim-leg. Awesome morning.
After the event, we headed to UCLA Hospital to visit Lawrence - FongStrong.com - He was doing great, so perfect cap to our morning. We got to regale him with our race-tales.
