Weekend of Races
050110. Wildflower, Ironman St. George, Alcatraz... friends everywhere doing all kinds of nutty races! Jabus and I were at WILDFLOWER... the Woodstock of Triathlon... with another 6,000+ athletes. LA Tri Club was proud to sponsor the race this year, and we had over 200 members out there pounding the courses. Once again, we edged out Tri Club San Diego to take the overall club win at this annual triathlon festival.

Ahhhhh. Takes my breath away every-time. Gotta Love Wildflower:

Nothing but smiles. If you asked post-swim, he wasn't too sure this was his thing... but, I bet you can read his mind here...  he's already looking for what's next!

And, I can't close this blog without mentioning our many LATCers who raced Ironman St. George. For many it was their first time Ironman. The stories from this race are still coming in... the water was crazy cold and there were many, many DNS and DNF's -- But, for these clubbers, the finish was within reach. Congratulatioins guys!!!
